Accelerator programs are like a boot camp for startups, providing us with a crash course in entrepreneurship, access to valuable resources, and connections to experienced mentors and investors. As a small business with big dreams, we knew we had to get in on the action in order to level up our game.
Our Accelerator Program Experience
We've been lucky enough to be a part of some amazing accelerator programs, like Target Forward Founders, digitalundivided BIG Pre, digitalundivided BIG Extension x MetLife, and McKinsey Next $1B: Founders. With each program, we've gained invaluable mentorship and support from industry experts, funding to help us scale our business, and networking opportunities to connect with other entrepreneurs and investors. Target Forward Founders was one of our favorites. We got to work with Target's senior leadership team, which helped us to expand our product line and distribution, allowing us to reach even more customers. And, digitalundivided Big Pre provided us with funding and mentorship to help us grow our business. Plus, we got to connect with other amazing women of color-led businesses in the program.
We're especially excited to be a part of the McKinsey accelerator program which recently began. Some inspiring brands have experienced significant growth after going through this program, and we're proud to be among startup hall-of-famers. We'll be working with some of the brightest minds in business strategy to develop new ways to scale our business and serve our customers.
